Built for How
Pigs Actually Live
Fiberglass composite slat systems that outlast metal, clean faster than concrete, and stay temperature-neutral from farrowing through finish.

Superior Traction
The High-Low finger design gives confident footing to sows and piglets — reducing stress, injury, and losses at every stage.
Effortless Cleaning
A true V-shaped underside lets waste drop clean through. Pressure-wash and it’s ready — no scraping, no harboured pathogens between groups.
Built to Last
Fiberglass-reinforced composite eliminates beam sag and resists the surface wear that destroys metal floors over years of intensive use.
Temperature Neutral
Unlike cold metal, Faroex stays ambient — piglets stop piling under the sow for warmth, directly reducing crush losses.
The right floor for every stage of production
Each system is fully modular and interlocks without special tools. Mix and match within your facility as your needs change.
Polygrate Challenger™ 40 × 60
The flagship farrowing floor. Rounded corners and beveled edges keep sows and piglets safe, while the fiberglass composite eliminates beam sag that plagues all-plastic alternatives. Proven under sows since 1981 with the best warranty in the business.
Polygrate Gro-More™
Engineered for weaners and nursery pigs up to 100 lbs. The 18″ × 18″ grates interlock to any floor size. Solid non-porous plastic won’t harbour disease between turns — pressure-wash and the room is ready for the next group.
Polygrate-Grower™
For finishing hogs up to 280 lbs. The 12″ × 30″ grates handle the load without sagging. Ideal void-to-wear ratio maximizes cleaning efficiency and return on investment over a multi-year floor lifespan in high-density environments.
Polygrate 40 × 40
The only true farrowing floor designed for the entire crate — replacing unsanitary steel and cast-iron inserts. The 3⁄8″ void and 3⁄8″ wear surface balance cleaning efficiency with sow and piglet comfort through the full farrowing cycle.

Farrowing Polygrate Challenger™ 40 × 60
Faroex’s founding product and still the benchmark for farrowing. The Challenger’s High-Low finger design creates a surface that gives confident footing to sows while protecting the soft feet of newborn piglets. The fiberglass-reinforced composite core eliminates the flex and sag that eventually defeats all-plastic floors — no creaking, no cracked slats under a 600 lb sow. The true V-shaped underside is a precision channel: waste drops through completely and pressure-washes clean from top to bottom without pooling.

Nursery Polygrate Gro-More™
Designed from the ground up for weaners and nursery pigs. The Gro-More’s compact 18″ × 18″ grate size means it can be configured for rooms of any dimension without cutting. The solid, non-porous plastic construction is the key biosecurity advantage: there are no internal voids where bacteria can persist between groups. After a batch moves out, pressure-wash and the floor is microbiologically clean and ready for the next group — no soaking, no scrubbing.

Grow-Out Polygrate-Grower™
Built for the demands of grow-out and finishing at weights up to 280 lbs (127 kg). The 12″ × 30″ grate profile delivers the optimal void-to-wear ratio for high-density finishing pens: enough open area for fast, thorough waste removal, enough wear surface to support large pigs without injury. Rounded corners and fully beveled edges remove the snag points that cause limb injuries in aggressive finishing environments. The fiberglass composite maintains structural integrity for the full useful life of the floor.

Full-Crate Polygrate 40 × 40
The 40×40 solves a problem that partial flooring systems can’t: it covers the entire farrowing crate as one unified surface, eliminating the separate steel or cast-iron sow insert. That’s fewer parts to track, fewer joints where waste accumulates, and one consistent void size across the full crate. The 3⁄8″ void and 3⁄8″ wear surface ratio is precisely balanced for the farrowing environment — large enough for fast waste dropout, fine enough to protect newborn piglets from foot drop-through while providing a firm surface for the sow.
